Stephane Risacher, Zaccharie’s dad, was born and raised in Moulins, Allier, France. He began playing basketball with the French club Stade Clermontois BA in 1987.
After two seasons with Stade Clermontois BA, Stephane played for JA Vichy and later for Tours. In 1990, he moved to Lyon and played for CRO Lyon, with whom he won the French Second Division league championship.
In 1994, he arrived in Paris and played six seasons with PSG Racing, with whom he won the French First Division League Championship. After playing for 13 years with only French teams, Stephane moved out from his native land.
