Yerin Ha

Raised in a family background of acting, Yerin Ha, an Australian-Korean actress nurtured acting interest and proficiency at an early age. But it was until her graduation from NIDA, she moved into an on-screen career and secured a role in the TV series Reef Break (2019). 

As of now, she is set to star in a major role in the Steven Spielberg-produced sci-fi TV series Halo (2022).

Early Life Of Yerin Ha- Where Was She Born? Nationality and Age?

Yerin Ha was born and raised in Sydney’s northern suburbs, Australia to Korean parents. Although her birthday is yet to be out, she is 23 years old as of 2021; her birth year is 1998. As for her nationality, Ha holds dual citizenship: Australian-Korean.

From an Asian background, the Reef Break actress is yet to reveal details on her parents, but as reported, they met in an acting school. Moreover, her grandmother is also an actor, which printed out her a clear path to acting.

A Graduate Of NIDA

Inspired by her family, Ha sought to take formal acting classes, so at the age of 15, she went to Korea. There, she trained for 3 years at Kaywon Performing Arts High School in Seoul.

Then, upon her return to Syndey, Yerin was accepted at NIDA, from where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (Acting), majoring in Musical Theatre in 2018.

Yerin Ha Notable TV Appearance As Quan Ah In ‘Halo’

Ha, who aims to work with multicultural creative teams is all set to appear as Quan Ah in the sci-fi TV series Halo (2022, 9 episodes). It is a live-action production based on the Halo video game franchise

Yerin’s character Quan is a 16-year old girl who meets Master Cheif (played by Pablo Schreiber), the Earth’s most advanced warrior and only hope for salvation after destruction from the alien alliances, The Covenant.

Other major casts in the series are Natascha McElhone, Charlie Murphy, Jen Taylor, Bokeem Woodbine, and Shabana Azmi.

Earlier, in 2019, just a year after NIDA graduation, she portrayed Technie Jane in the TV series Reef Break. It starred Poppy Montgomery, Ray Stevenson, Tamala Shelton, Desmond Chaim, and Melissa Bonne in main roles.

Not to mention her immense acting skills as well as theatres experience benefits her to cope with on-screen challenges. Her theater production credits include Lord of the Flies, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Colby Sisters, Caucasian Chalk Circle, and The Changeling.

As per IMDB, Yerin Ha is currently filming for the upcoming movie Sissy.
