Ivanna Sakhno’s Family Hail From Ukraine
Ivanna Sakhno left her family behind in Ukraine at age 15 to pursue an acting career in Hollywood. The Let It Snow actress comes from a family involved in the movie industry.
Sakhno is one of two kids of director Galina Kuvivchak-Sakhno and cinematographer Anatoliy Sakhno.
Ivanna’s mother, Galina, began working as a director in 1995, making her debut with the short movie Dobroe utro. Her latest work was the documentary From Ukraine to Hollywood, released in 2019.
Anatoliy Sakhno has been a cinematographer since 1993 and worked with his wife on her debut project. Last year, he worked in the TV series/documentary Citizens at War: A Year In Ukraine.
