Edwards is a previously married man whose daughter is only five/six years younger than Emily. There are speculations that Richard, who is 40+, started dating Emily when she was only 17.

One of the comments from the post talked about Emily’s relationship with Richards. The user wrote, “I actually called Emily’s boyfriend out on an IG post once and said they were dating before she turned 18, and he was essentially grooming her.
I didn’t tag either of them, but they both managed to find my post and DMed me, threatening to sue me for defamation/libel. I didn’t bother replying to Richard’s but replied to Emily, telling her that her boyfriend is a pervert and creep, and I can only hope she realized that and leaves him.”

Who Is Richard Edwards? Emily Alyn Lind’s Former Partner
Richard Edwards is an American singer/songwriter and the founding member of the Indiana rock band Margot & the Nuclear So and So’s.
Richard founded the band alongside Andy Fry in 2004 and released their debut album in 2006 when they had eight full-time members.
Between 2006-2014, the band released six full-length albums. After their disbandment, Richard pursued a solo career and released his first solo album, Lemon Cotton Candy Sunset, in 2017.
The singer released his second album, Verdugo, in 2018, and his third came during the height of the pandemic, titled The Soft Ache and the Moon.
Edwards is available on Instagram but has only shared two posts and usually tries to keep himself out of the public spotlight.

Emily Alyn Lind is one of three kids of actress Barbara Alyn Woods and director John Lind. The Every Breath You Take actress has one older sister, Natalie, and a younger sister, Alyvia.
Barbara met her husband, John, in the late 1990s, an assistant director at the time, on the sets of “Honey, I Shrunk The Kids: TV Show.”
Woods debuted in the 1988 TV series Sable and starred in several TV series throughout the 90s. But it was in the early 2000s that Barbara gained recognition.
The recognition came from the popular TV series One Tree Hill, in which she starred from 2003-2009. She starred as Deborah “Deb” Lee on the show, and earlier this year, Barbara revealed that the cast were onboard for a reunion.
John Lind has mostly worked as a second unit or assistant director in his career. His first project came in 1988, titled, Friday the 13th: The Series.
