That is why in DBD, Charles, like Revri, is half-Indian, and his ethnicity holds great importance. In episode 3, we see Charles’s flashbacks on how he died.
In his case, he was bullied by white teenagers who didn’t like him defending a Pakistani boy from racism as they shared a South-Asian heritage.
