Dean-Charles Chapman’s parents, Elizabeth and Dean Chapman Sr, are from England. The Game of Thrones actor has two siblings, both sisters.

Dean-Charles Chapman’s parents, Elizabeth and Dean Chapman, raised their three kids in Havering, England. The Game of Thrones actor’s family has previously involved themselves in controversy, involving Chapman Sr.
Dean’s dad, Chapman Sr, and his uncle, Darren Chapman, were arrested in September 2019 over a VAT scam. Brothers Darren and Dean Chapman mixed kerosene with diese and sold it as legitimate road fuel at their petrol station in Pulborough, West Sussex.
HMRC found that 4.8 million liters of fuel was sold at a tax loss of almost £3.5m. The case first popped up when customers complained of having problems with their cars, which led Trading Standards to investigate the two brothers.
Darren Chapman was found guilty of fraudulent trading and fraudulent evasion of Excise Duty and VAT. He headed to jail for eight years and two months. Dean Chapman was jailed for four years and six months after being found guilty of fraudulent trading and fraudulent evasion of VAT.
Assistant director of the Fraud Investigation Service, HMRC, Richard Wilkinson, said, “The gang knew what they were doing was wrong, but even after being challenged by HMRC officers and investigated by Trading Standards officers, they continued to flout the law.
They sold illegal fuel, which damaged vehicle engines and resulted in a tax loss of nearly £3.5m – money needed to fund our public services.”
Chapman has never talked about his dad’s controversy publicly. In a 2020 interview with The Standard, Chapman said his mum, Elizabeth, is a stay-at-home mum, and his dad is a recovery truck driver.
The actor added if he weren’t acting, he probably would’ve been a recovery truck driver like his dad.
Chapman’s Relative Took Part In The Great War
Previously, in an interview with The Sun, Chapman said his great, great grandfather was part of World War 1.
While filming the movie 1917, Chapman read diaries from the Western Front. He learned about a machine gunner named David Peers, who spent four days in intense pain behind enemy lines after being shot through the hip in Loos in October 1915.
The actor then learned that the dramatic account was about his own relative. Speaking to The Sun, the actor said, “It was only after I spoke to my mum and dad, who then spoke to their parents, that it became clear that my great, great, grandad had an entry in it.”
The actor added that knowing his relative had an entry in the book made him feel so much connected to his character, Lance Corporal Blake. The Daily Mail showed an image presenting the Chapman family’s succession line.
David Henry Peers’ had a daughter named Evelyn Ruby Peers, who married Sidney Chapman. Sidney and Evelyn had their son Sydney Chapman, who then had Dean Chapman. As Dean married Elizabeth, the couple gave birth to the actor Dean-Charles Chapman.

Dolly’s theatre agent recommended Elizabeth to put Dean forward for auditions, leading to Dean starring in a Nickelodeon advert at age four.
Dolly is available on Instagram and mostly shares pictures of her modeling in her home. Dolly hasn’t shared any photos with her husband or partner, but she has a baby boy maned Phoenix River.
River was born on November 1, 2023, and appears frequently on his mother’s Instagram handle. On the day of his birth, Dolly shared a gallery of images of her firstborn.

Dean’s younger sister, Celia-Rose Chapman, is 16 and loves horseriding. She has a separate Instagram handle dedicated to her equestrian skills.
Unlike her brother, Celia is probably looking forward to making a name for herself in the athletic world. That too, as an equestrian.
