The horror movie M3GAN famed actress Amie Donald’s parents, Roiseen and Miles, are from New Zealand. The child actress has an older brother named Campbell Donald.
Amie, 14, became famous overnight after her performance in the horror film went viral. Alongside being a talented actress, Amie is also a skilled dancer and a stunt performer.
In an Instagram post, Donald revealed she had performed all the stunts in the movie by herself. M3GAN’s director, Gerard Johnstone, praised the youngster’s professionalism on set.

After failing to convince her daughter, Roisheen took Amie to a dance studio. The dance studio owner told Roisheen he was surprised this was Amie’s first time training in a dance studio. It was almost as if Amie was already training somewhere else.
An athletic mum, Roisheen also has a black belt and helped Amie achieve her orange belt. After Amie got into acting, Roisheen quit her full-time job as an Inland Revenue Officer, a position she held for 34 years.
She wanted to give her full attention to her daughter’s acting career and see where it takes her. Roisheen doesn’t do it alone; her husband, Miles, has supported his family in all the ways possible.
In her conversation with Herald, Roisheen said she and Miles were constantly on the go, taking kids to various activities on weeknights and weekends. If Roisheen was passionate about gymnastics, Miles loved his rugby.
However, acting is somewhat Amie’s gifted talent, as neither her mom nor dad seem to have shown interest in it when they were young. Miles worked at MacDonald & Cammac Machinery for two decades before joining Machinery House as a branch manager.
