Soon after Michael and Dionne are engaged, the former disappears but returns with superpowers. The other four South Londoners who gain superpowers are Tazer, Andre, Rodney, and Sabrina.
Michael can travel through time and space, Andre has super strength, Tazas can go invisible, Rodney has super speed and healing powers, and Sabrina has telekinetic abilities.
In the show’s first episode, Michael travels through time and learns from his future self that his fiance, Dionne, will die in a few short months. His future self also tells him he can save his fiance if he tracks down the other four superheroes and fights the evil.
But Michael is forced to keep all this a secret from his fiance. It deteriorates their relationship as Dionne wants to know what happened to Michael ever since he disappeared for that brief time.
But can Michael save his fiance from the hooded villains? You have to watch the series to find out. After its premiere in June, the show has received positive reviews, and fans expect a second season. The show currently has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
