Galitzine, who portrayed Elliott Lefevre in the Netflix series, Chambers, is the only son and youngest of two children of his parents, Geoffrey Leo Alexander Galitzine, and Lora Maria Konstantina Papayanni.

According to the LinkedIn profile of Lora (Nichloas’ mother), she is the Client Director at Coutts & Co (Oct. 2007- present), a London-based private bank. She works in the UHNW team of the International and Family Office division.

Galitzine’s Father Encouraged Him For Acting
The Mary & George actor never misses an opportunity to thank his parents, especially his dad, for making him one of the noted rising stars in the film industry. In May 2019, during his interview with The Last Magazine, Nicholas gave insights on his acting journey.
As reported, then-18-year-old, Galitzine followed his friends for a play that was headed for the Edinburgh Film Festival, so that he could get close to a girl he liked. It was a mismarketed version of Spring Awakening called “Rites: A Children’s Tragedy.”
“I was always a bit of an introvert and a shy kid so the idea of performing was terrifying, but I had just graduated school and it was a fun summer holiday plan, so I auditioned for it.”
However, going into the audition room, he felt nervous and phoned his father, Geoffrey, and asked if he was not sure if he wants acting or not. His dad convinced him.
“He convinced me that it would be a fun, new experience at the very least and I’d probably regret it if I didn’t do it.”
And in a fateful incident, not only did he get the role, but also got discovered by an English agency, which was a kickstart to his acting career.
On Father’s Day of 2021, Nicholas posted a picture with his dad and thanked him for encouraging and inspiring him at every step.
He wrote, “To the man that raised me, drove me to rugby fixtures around the country, let me pilot a plane when I was 9, convinced me to go to the audition for the play where I’d get scouted and start a career as an actor, HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!”

Galitzine’s only sibling- his older sister, Lexi, is a professional illustrator and interior stylist. The two siblings are very close even though they don’t appear on each other social media posts and are occupied with their professional ventures.
