Staz Nair’s wife, Joana Tavira-Nair, has tried to keep herself out of the public limelight. The better half of the actor has kept her Instagram handle private, and Staz only started to share photos of his wife in 2022, a year before their marriage.
Staz certainly broke the hearts of his several fangirls on April 3, 2022, when he shared a shirtless picture of him with Joana. The actor captioned the post with an extract of the song Waterfront from Jamie Moon.
He wrote, “And on the waterfront, I walked. The water was moving so gracefully. I felt all of my fears fall away. And I sat down and closed my eyes. The sound of the breeze was my cradle.”
The second slide of the post contained a steamy picture of Joana lying on Staz’s chest as the pair soaked up the sun.
In recent years, Staz has only shared posts on Instagram when he has to promote his new projects. So, in May 2023, he truly shocked his fans when he shared photos from his wedding ceremony.

The Games of Thrones actor and his wife exchanged their vows in Sintra, Portugal, with their wedding ceremony planned by Dream Weddings Europe team.
The ceremony took place at the private real estate Quinta Bella Vista, a beautiful property on Rua Barbosa du Bocage, the magical road of Sinatra.
It is believed that the couple walked down the aisle on April 30, 2023, with Staz taking a few extra days to share the picture.

The couple only gave two months to Dream Weddings Europe to prepare for their wedding. But the wedding planner didn’t disappoint, as Staz and Joana’s wedding ceremony looked no less than a scene straight out of a movie.
The actor also shared a gallery of images on April 30 to celebrate his and Joana’s first anniversary. Staz captioned the post, “Happy anniversary and happy first birthday to the best day of my life. Joana, loving you is the easiest and greatest honor I will have in this lifetime. Thank you for choosing me every day.”
Staz Nair Previous Relationship With Klara Vernier
Before becoming one soul with Joana, Staz was in a relationship with Klara Vernier. There are several photos of Klara arm-in-arm with Staz attending red-carpet events.
The pair began dating in November 2015, and to this day, Staz has kept up his second-anniversary post with Klara on his Instagram handle.
He has captioned the post, “Happy second anniversary (it was yesterday, late as always) to my partner in life, in love and crime.

As written by the actor on his Instagram post, Lyena Nair, Staz’s mother, had been dealing with several mental health issues since she was 15.

So let me get something straight: I am proud of my mother, I love my mother, and I embrace her in every shape, state, and size she comes in.”
He further wrote, “So please feel free to tell the press anything you like. Hopefully, it brings more attention to mental health anyway! Just goes to show it’s never too late to start fighting for your life. Nothing could make me ashamed of you, mum. Love you, mum.”
