Jeremy Swayman is yet to make Tori Hickel his wife. The two hockey players have been dating for a long time, with their only picture coming in 2020.
It’s their love for hockey and their equal love for outdoor activities that brings Jeremy and Tori together. The Boston Bruins goaltender has tried to keep his relationship with the former hockey player, Tori Hickel, out of the public limelight.
Swayman, 25, was drafted by the Bruins as the 111th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He has since then been a one-man team, having made his first NHL All-Star appearance earlier this year.
It was Swayman who got the nod ahead of teammate Linus Ullmark to play against the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 1. And the goaltender didn’t disappoint as he displayed a solid performance, making 35 saves in the Bruins’ 5-1 win over the Leafs.

Jeremy Swayman has no wife but has a longtime girlfriend in Tori Hickel. The two Alaska natives, Swayman and Hickel, have remained hush-hush about their relationship and have chosen to keep their love lowkey.
One of their only publicly seen pictures came in 2020. Both Jeremy and Tori share the same love for outdoor activities. They are fishing enthusiasts, with the NHL player and his girlfriend having shared several fishing-related posts on their social media handles.
In 2020, the two shared a carousel of images on their Instagram pages of their fishing trip. One of those slides had the picture of the goaltender standing beside his girlfriend, who proudly displayed her catch to the camera.
Tori shared the same picture on her Instagram page but didn’t show her beau to her followers. But one of her friends quickly realized that Jeremy was present during the trip and commented on her post, “@jswayman1 take your shirt off already.”
Jeremy and Tori both liked the comment. Other than this interaction, the two have never given any hints about their relationship on social media handles.

Who Is Tori Hickel? The Hockey Player Turned Coach
Tori Hickel’s love for ice hockey began at a young age. She wasn’t the only one in her family who loved the sport. Her older sister, Zoe Hickel, is also a former player.
Every year, the two sisters would wait for the temperatures to drop so they could tie their shoelaces and play ice hockey. Tori began playing the sport at age three as she chased the puck across a frozen pond in her neighborhood.
A defenceman, Hickel’s professional career in hockey began in 2008 with the Alaska Wolves U14 team. She also played for the U16 side before playing for NAHA White.
In 2012, Tori enrolled at Northeastern University and was part of their women’s ice hockey team. Tori played in all 36 games, earning 13 points, which included three goals and ten assists.
In her second year, Hickel played 33 games, earning ten points, followed by six and eight points in her junior and senior years. After graduating from Northeastern University, Tori continued her hockey career in Europe.
She played two seasons for the Swedish team Djurgårdens IF. Her first season was with the A team, followed by her debut in the senior team in her second season.
Hickel returned to North America in 2018 with the Canadian team Calgary Inferno before returning to Sweden and playing her final year as a professional hockey player with the side Linköping HC.
Since retiring from the sport, Tori and Zoe Hickel have been working with a team of U-19 women. They help the girls hone their skills before they head off to college.
Alongside working as a hockey coach, Tori has also taken up the role of an Interior Designer at Willowridge Construction. She has been working with the company since 2020.

Jeremy Swayman’s parents, Anne Boesenberg and Ken Swayman, raised two kids in Anchorage, Alaska. The NHL player has a sister named Elizabeth, his only sibling.
In his interviews, Jeremy has talked about his bond with his father, Ken Swayman. Dr. Ken Swayman was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up on Long Island.
He graduated from Florida State University with a science degree in 1985 and completed his degree in Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1990.
After completing his residency in Seattle, Washington, Dr. Ken moved to Anchorage, where he started his family. Jeremy’s love for nature and outdoor activities stems from his dad, who would fasten him to his backpack as the father-son duo would travel through the woods that Alaska had to provide for them.
In his interview with The Boston Sports Journal in 2022, Ken handed over many pictures of their early trips. Even though Jeremy started to take his hockey career seriously, the little one and his father would take time out of their busy schedule and dedicate it to hiking.
Earlier this year, Ken tagged alongside his son to the NHL All-Star game. It was Jeremy’s first appearance. Jeremy’s mom, Anne Boesenberg, has kept herself away from the limelight.
