2024 has been quite an up-and-down year for the couple. In April, they announced their engagement, and only a month later, Ryan became part of the $16 million gambling and theft case involving MLB superstar Shohei Ohtani.
Despite the controversy, Ryan and Jennifer are going strong. They have said their wedding might also take place in the Bahamas. Jennifer and Ryan are a divorced pair, with Jennifer previously married to biotech entrepreneur William Pedranti.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Jennifer Pedranti’s boyfriend, Ryan Boyajian, works at a brokerage firm. Boyajian and Pedranti appeared on the TV screens for the first time on Season 17 of the controversial show that aired in 2023.
During Season 18 Episode Two, Jennifer discussed her fiance’s career with Shannon Storms and Katie Ginella. The latter asked Pedranti what her partner does for a living, and Jennifer said, “Well, nothing now. He did mortgages for years and years and has done real estate development since then.
But nothing, like, there’s no office. He just like of, um….I feel like he sits around and plays in the sunshine. He lives the dream life, I always tell him.”
Listening to Jennifer’s conversation with Katie and Shannon, it looks like the RHOC star is underselling her future husband’s portfolio. Boyajian graduated from Florida State University in 2009 with a science, economics, and sociology degree.
After graduation, Ryan worked at Double Eagle Distributing Inc. as an On-Premise Relief Representative and later became the On-Premise Sales Representative. He left his position at Double Eagle in 2013 and joined Boyajian Brokerage firm.
He started as a Regional Business Manager at Boyajian Brokerage, and in 2019, he became the Vice President of Operations. The Boyaian Brokerage firm seems to be Ryan’s family business, as the firm has been operating since 2000 with Aram Boyajian at the company’s helm.
Though Jennifer said her future husband no longer has an office and spends most of his time in the sun, Ryan caught himself in a huge controversy earlier this year.
This year, the MLB was rocked by Shohei Ohtani’s $16 million gambling and theft scandal, which was later said to be done by his interpreter. ESPN reported that Ryan is also part of the mess.
Citing multiple sources, ESPN stated that Boyajian is the bookmaker’s associate to whom interpreter Ippei Mizuhara wired money to pay his gambling debts.
Boyajian’s lawyer told ESPN, “Because there is an active investigation and Ryan is working with the authorities, he can’t confirm or deny what is going on. He is not a bookmaker or a sub-bookie.”

How Did Ryan Boyajian Meet Jennifer Pedranti?
Ryan Boyajian met Jennifer Pedranti at CUT Fitness—but it wasn’t an instant connection. Speaking to Daily Dish in October 2023, Ryan spilled some beans on his and Jennifer’s relationship.
Boyajian said, “Jenn and I, in the first maybe six months of me being at the gym, it went from ‘I don’t know her’ to ‘Hello,’ ‘Good morning,’ ‘Goodbye,’ to then we started to communicate.
At the time, Jennifer and her ex-husband, William Pedranti, were together. Jennifer hasn’t shied away from sharing having an emotional affair with Ryan while she was still married to her ex.
She has also denied that she and Ryan were ever physical before her separation from her ex-husband. Earlier this year, in April, Jennifer and Ryan announced their engagement, having dated for four years.
Boyajian popped the big question during their trip to the Bahamas on April 11, 2024. Speaking to PEOPLE, Jennifer said, “I was shocked. He said, ‘Come here for a second,’ as we walked down on the beach.”
The RHOC star continued, “And he pulled me in, and I asked him, ‘Are you doing something?’ And the second he got down in the sand, I don’t even remember what he said because I was so surprised.”

Meet Jennifer Pedranti’s Ex-Husband, William Pedranti
William and Jennifer Pedranti have recently divorced after 18 years of being together. Jennifer will reportedly receive a six-figure lump sum from the divorce, and William has a legal obligation to pay child support.
The former couple share five kids, Harrison, 20, Dawson, 17, Greyson, 14, Everleigh, 12, and Dominic, 10. The children will primarily reside with their mother.
The biotech entrepreneur William Pedranti graduated from the University of Southern California in 1994. He later earned his JD from Georgetown University Law Center in 2000.
In the early 2000s, William worked as an attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP but gave up on his law career to begin his business career in 2004. In 2004, William became the Vice President of General Counsel at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals and remained in that position until 2010.
He returned to his roots in 2011 when he became a Partner at Gordon & Rees LLP firm. William only stayed there for a year before joining Snell & Winter in 2012. Two years later, William co-founded Scilex Pharmaceuticals and was its President of Operations from 2014 until 2019.
In 2017, William co-founded another pharmaceutical company, IACTA Pharmaceuticals. Two years later, in 2019, he co-founded PENG Life Science Ventures, and today, he works as the CEO of the biotech company Visgenx.
In 2023, opening up about her divorce, Jennifer said they were separated for years, but weren’t legally divorced. She said, “Our divorce is the most ongoing thing in the world, but Will and I are good. We’re just focused on kids.”
Jennifer also shared that Will was fine with her and Ryan’s relationship. She said, “He’s OK with Ryan and me. He’s in a relationship and happier than he’s ever been. He just is very private. He’s very private.”
