Sierra Capri dating Diego Tinoco has been a fan-made story since 2018, with none of them ever confirming their off-screen fling.
The two actors were a hit duo in the show On My Block. Both actors earned a substantial fanbase when the show was airing back in 2018-2021, and to this date, we see several fan-made edits of the two.
Since the show ended in 2021, both the lead actors have yet to star in another big project. Sierra was seen earlier this year in a music video, and Diego has turned his attention to hosting the podcast On My Pod, which seems on-trend.

The two actors had great on-screen chemistry, making thousands of fans believe they were a real-life couple. In his interview with Teen Vogue, Tinoco wasn’t shy to praise his on-screen girlfriend.
Tinoco said, “Sierra is such a great actress. Working with her, instantly we can just jump into it. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better scene partner. Especially for my first TV show, having a girlfriend. I couldn’t have asked for a better screen lover.”
Though their fans desperately wanted them to couple, the two actors never confirmed that they were seeing each other. Even till last year, their fan edits would get more than a million views on TikTok.
It’s been a hot minute since the two were seen side by side. Currently, Diego is busy promoting his podcast On My Pod. His latest guest was actress Paula Graces, who starred alongside Tinoco and Capri in the show.
Talking about Sierra, the actress has yet to bag any prominent role since the series ended. Earlier this year, we saw her in Chris Brown’s music video, Angel Numbers/Ten Toes. Unfortunately, her young fans weren’t impressed with it.
The R&B singer is notorious for being violent towards women, and the hate towards the singer was visible in Sierra’s Instagram comment section. One of the fans wrote, “NAH BAE WHAT YOU DOING BY THIS MAN???!”
But some fans were happy seeing their Monse Finnie (Capri’s character in “On My Block”) after a long time in something.

Sierra Capri Family: Raised By Supportive Parents
Whenever asked about her family in interviews, Sierra Capri has always talked about the supportiveness of her parents towards her career.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Capri grew up in Georgia. During an interview for Issuu, Capri said she comes from a very loving family, and growing up, she was close to both her parents.
She said her parents kept her grounded and mindful of what’s important in life, what’s worth her energy, and what’s not.
But the young actress added that her childhood in Baltimore exposed her to few realities that helped shape her character.
Beyond interviews, Sierra has a knack for flashing her family on social media, too. She has shared a few photos with her mom on her social media handle.
In 2020, she shared two photos of her mom on her birthday. The actress captioned the post, “Happy Birthday Mommy. I’m extremely blessed/humble that I’m lucky enough to call you my mother and a friend. Thank you for your endless support. You’re my rock and heaven-sent (I believe that). Here’s to getting younger every day.”
Even in her interview for Issuu, Capri highlighted how reassuring her mother had been during difficult times. Capri and her mom moved to Georgia when the actress was only 12. The mother-daughter lived with Capri’s grandmother.
She said. “My mother has always given me the best advice. She’s my rock and continues to help me become the best version of me.”
Sierra Capri On Being Voice For Young Black Girls
Capri had previously talked about her experience as a woman of color in the entertainment industry. In an interview for LadyGunn, Sierra said she wanted to influence and inspire the next generation to do better.
She also said she wanted to inspire people and herself to be better and help make changes in someone’s life, be it big or small.
Capri also voiced her opinion on the lack of unity within the communities of color. She said that only in communities of color does there exist a sense of contest, which is rare for other races.
Sierra also said how the media loves pinning black women against each other. In the end, Sierra said she wanted to remind black girls, black guys, multiracial and anybody of color that they are seen and can do anything they put their minds to.
