In recent years, Dawn Olivieri has become a horse activist. Last year, the actress joined Relief Riders International for a relief mission in India.
The actress lives in Arkansas and has shared several photos on her ranch with her horses on her Instagram handle. Speaking to My Pulse News, the actress shared that she didn’t grow up with horses.
It was only in her 20s that she learned to ride horses. The Yellowstone actress said it was because of her parents that she got interested in horses in the first place.

Last year, during the actor’s strike, Dawn worked on rescuing mares and foals that headed for kill pens. By late October, Olivieri had rescued approximately 44 horses.
