Gina Kirschenheiter has three kids with her ex-husband, Matthew Kirschenheiter. The RHOC star divorced her husband in 2018 and later filed a restraining order against him.

The RHOC star, Gina Kirschenheiter, shares three kids with her ex-husband Matthew Kirschenheiter. Gina has shared photographs of her kids, Nicholas, Sienna, and Luca, on her Instagram handle.
Recently, Gina and her three kids attended the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. The reality star shared a fun video of her kids meeting several celebrities, including the host of the night, Spongebob.
In 2019, after her divorce from Matt, Gina revealed her kids were taking the divorce well. Speaking to Page Six, Gina said, “The kids are doing good. We move towns, and they’re in a new school, and the school is amazing.”
A few years later, in 2022, Gina talked about co-parenting her three kids with Matt. In the RHOC’s 16th season reunion episode, Gina said, “It sucked, and it was hard, and it wasn’t flawless, but we both did what we needed to do for our children to get on board. Things keep getting better.”
In 2020, after moving in with her current boyfriend, Travis Mullen, Gina shared a series of photographs of their blended family celebrating Easter. Like Gina, Mullen has three kids from his previous relationship.
Gina captioned the post, “Happy Easter from us to you! Had the best day celebrating with the chickies.” In February of the same year, Kirschneheiter told PEOPLE that she and Mullen’s kids get along well and love each other.
She said, “They even all have their own space. It’s only three bedrooms, but we have triple bunkbeds in both the kids’ rooms, so everyone has settled into their corner. They’re just happy together, all six of the kids. It makes us confident in this decision and reminds us that we’re doing the right thing.”

Gina Kirschenheiter’s former husband, Matthew Kirschenheiter, is an account executive. Kirschenheiter graduated from Hofstra University with a finance degree in 2006 and has since continued working in the corporate world.
Kirschenheiter was previously a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, but that role only stuck with him for a year. In 2007, he joined the investment management company PIMCO as their internal advisor consultant.
Matthew slowly rose through the ranks at PIMCO and became Vice President of the North Central Division and later West Coast Sales Desk Manager. In 2017, he became the account manager and worked in that company until 2019 before calling it quits.
In 2021, Matthew joined American Home Acquisitions as their acquisition manager and worked in that position for a year. Before joining American Home Acquisitions, Matthew had begun working for LendSure Mortgage Corp as their account executive in 2020. He continues to work with the mortgage company.
Gina and Matthew tied the knot in 2010 and were married for eight years before calling it quits in 2018. During their ongoing divorce, Gina joined RHOC, which made many people question whether Gina was divorcing Matt for fame.
Speaking to Andy Cohen about her divorce in 2018, Gina said, “A hundred percent honest, I started this show knowing that Matt and I had been in a down, but I didn’t know that down was going to make me pull the trigger to get a divorce.”
Kirschenheiter added that she wished her husband had been more expressive during their marriage. “He’s just not the person who compliments you, builds you up, and makes you feel great.”
Gina Once Filed A Restraining Order Against Her Former Partner
The couple briefly reconciled in 2019 but separated again after an argument in their home in June 2019. The argument led to Matt getting arrested as he threatened to kill Gina and allegedly physically assaulted her.
Matt pleaded not guilty and was charged with two felony counts of domestic violence in September 2019. Gina also filed a restraining order against her former partner. In April 2021, Matt pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges and was sentenced to 180 days in prison.
Two months later, in June 2021, Gina asked the court to dismiss her restraining order against Matt. Earlier this year, in April, Matthew married his longtime girlfriend, Britt.
Gina had previously spoken highly of Britt on Watch What Happens Live in 2022. She said, “[Things are] great. We co-parent well. We live down the block from each other.
We’re at the sports fields all weekend, and it continues to be normal. He lives with his girlfriend, and she’s great. I have a relationship with his girlfriend, and we’re great.”
