Elizabeth Huberdeau (formerly “Cena”) is the ex-wife of WWE champ and actor John Cena.
The former couple, who were high school sweethearts, married in 2009, in hopes of raising their own family. However, after three years of marriage, everything went south & they divorced in 2012. Like many celebrity couples, their split made quite a limelight then.
Nevertheless, both Elizabeth and John Cena have moved on with their lives now. So, what is Huberdeau doing now?
In this article, we will unravel some interesting facts about Cena’s first wife, Elizabeth.

4) Divorce Drama Of John Cena & Elizabeth Huberdeau
Only after three years of marriage, Cena and Huberdeau divorced on July 18, 2012. According to TMZ, Elizabeth who went by “Liz Cena” was blindsided after her then-beau filed for divorce on May 1, 2012.
As reported, she thought that the 13-time WWE champ was cheating on her, so he initiated the split. If that were to happen, Huberdeau could challenge their prenup agreement, but nothing on extra-marital affairs came up.
But still, Elizabeth who didn’t want the divorce, filed a petition in May of that year, to dismiss John’s petition and force him to re-file (if he dared).
She cited that there were errors in the filing; for instance, Cena mentioned her with her maiden name “Huberdeau” instead of her legal surname “Cena.”
Two months later, the duo divorced on a settlement but kept the terms confidential.
