Clint was by Marubini’s side when she passed away in the 2002 car accident. Clint, Marubini, and her sister, Lerato, were going to Brink’s family function from Petersburg to Paarl.
On their way, two cars forced them off the road, causing the driver to lose control. Clint and Lerato sustained minor injuries, but Marubini died on the spot.
