Moreover, O’Reilly will again reprise the role of Mothma, co-founder and leader of the Rebel Alliance, in the Disney+ series Andor (2022).

But her fame is not limited to Star Wars franchise only. Well, Genevieve portrayed Officer Wirtz in the 2nd & 3rd installment of Keneau Reeves’s hit movie The Matrix. Additionally, she had major roles in the TV series: Glitch (2015-19) and Tin Star (2017-20).

Now in 2022, Genevieve again landed the role of Mon Mothma in the Star Wars franchise series Andor. It stars Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, while Alex Ferns, Wilf Scolding, Noof Ousellam & Clemens Schick are in supporting roles.

The Disney+ series is a prequel to Rogue One (2016), a Star Wars spin-off film, that is set in the 5 years earlier timeframe to the movie.

It will be a 12-episode series & premieres this September 21, 2022. Also, the second season of Andor is already in development.
