Acting was never Mattia’s first interest. In fact, growing up, Mattia was an athletic child who looked ready to build his career in sports. From ages 6 to 12, Carrano practiced a Korean martial art called Hwa Rang Do.
The youngster even reached the world championship stage at one point and won two gold medals at the event hosted in Los Angeles. He had to quit the sport after he hurt his knee in training.

Mattia’s mother always told her son he was meant to be an actor. She would encourage him to visit agencies and study acting. His mother was the one to send his photos to an agent, who then picked him for Prisma.
In his interview with Vanity Fair in 2022, Mattia shared he was still living with his mom. The actor also shared that his mother always tells him, “You’re going to Hollywood.”

In his 2022 interview with Vanity Fair, Mattea revealed he has been in a relationship with a woman for four and a half years. The interviewer pointed out that Matte hasn’t shared a single post for his girlfriend on his Instagram handle.
